I plan on dropping the 300 into the '85 and fuel injecting it. Some quick overview specs of the engine: 19cc 351w pistons. Deck shaved to 0.005" in the hole. 9.1:1 compression. In your case I would go the 4 barrel intake and a carb though since your concern revolves around the current smelly carb.
