I turn the key and I hear the relays click but there is no power getting to the solenoid. checked all fuses and no fuses are blown, if i run a jumper from the battery to the small post on the solenoid the truck starts up fine. WebbOn 87–90 models, a base readout of 4030 indicates engine running self test has been entered. On 87–90 models, DTC output will be the RH three digits displayed. Service pass code is 4011. On 91–97 models, DTCs will be displayed on message center. On all models, to exit Self test, turn ignition Off.

About 1 to 1.5 inches of copper wire should do. Then put a bend in it to get the rings to line up with the starter terminals. Stranded wire will work, but solid wire will look neat and clean.
